Team Intrinsic hits form at Eastbourne Tri
Another great outing for IFE’s Team Intrinsic at the recent 32Gi Eastbourne Tri saw sponsored athlete Matt Cox snatch fourth overall after the elite men in a time of 1:06:49, improving on last year’s fifth place.
Chris Roberts, MD at Intrinsic Facilities Engineering, followed him home in 29th position and fourth in category out of a field of 150 finishers, completing the sprint-plus course in 1:21:03.
Guest Team Intrinsic athletes Jon and Julian Cox finished 70th and 106th posting times of 1:32:35 and 1:45:14 respectively.
The Eastbourne course comprises a 600m swim, 25km cycle and 5km run, which includes a hill climb made famous in sporting circles for being the tough start to the Beach Head Marathon.
Team Intrinsic are hitting excellent form as they build towards the JLL Property Triathlon on 30th June, in which Chris has competed every year.
