Team Intrinsic has been named ‘Top Corporate Team’ at the JLL Property Triathlon 2018, winning the prestigious King Sturge Cup in the lowest combined team time of 03:31:44. The silverware adds to the team’s impressive medal tally this season with its fastest finisher Matt Cox taking 1st place in his 30-39 age group and 4th overall at the top drawer event.
The King Sturge Cup goes to the company with the lowest combined times of their three fastest finishers in the individual event. Intrinsic FE team mates Matt Cox, Ben Richards and Chris Roberts completed the sprint distance event at Dorney Lake in 01:04:18, 01:09:56 and 01:17:29 respectively to qualify for the accolade. Their colleague Ben Ferguson achieved a new course PB of 1:32:01.
“Intrinsic punches above its weight in the property sector – on and off the triathlon circuit,” said a jubilant Chris Roberts, MD of Intrinsic Facilities Engineering. “The JLL Property Tri is the highlight of our competitive season”, continued Chris who has competed in the event since its King Sturge days. “As the largest one day event of its kind in the UK it’s a credit to organisers and competitors past and present. We look forward to returning next year to defend our title.”
